It’s no secret that the Iranian government is America’s enemy. They hate our freedom and our Christian values, they persecute anyone who questions them, and they sponsor terror around the globe.
When I found out that the daughter of a senior Iranian official who threatened our troops and President Trump was employed at Emory, I called for an investigation to ensure she wasn’t using her position to steal our nation’s secrets or sow sedition in our classrooms.
I am very proud to report that Emory made the right decision to take my call seriously and FIRED Dr. Larijani this weekend! She will no longer use our tax dollars and our freedoms to advance her father’s terrorist ideals.
I am now further calling on ICE and USCIS to review her immigration or visa status and promptly ARREST HER AND SEND HER BACK TO IRAN if she is in our country illegally.
I will also be using my position on the Georgia Senate Appropriations Committee to determine if any of our hard-earned tax dollars have been used to benefit Dr. Larijani through the Georgia Research Alliance and asking Emory WHY they ever employed her in the first place.
President Trump has been very clear: we cannot allow Iran to own our farmland or businesses and there are consequences for those who threaten our courageous soldiers. I back his America First agendaand, as your next Lt. Governor, I’ll continue leading the fight to defund and deport America’s enemies here in Georgia!
